Terms of Sales:
Payment:
We accept all major credit cards. Your credit card is NOT charged Online. We will charge your credit card at time of shipping. You will NOT be charged for any item that is backordered nor will you be charged for shipping on those items until we recieve the item back in stock and fill your back order.
Sales Tax:
Sales tax will be collected from orders shipped to a Connecticut address only. Tax is calculated on all merchandise, handling, and shipping.
Ordering information:
We greatly prefer that You place your order Online, however you can order by Fax (212) 226-2573 or by Phone (212) 226-2567 (Voice Lines get very Busy).
Prices:
Our low quantity price breaks are intended to give the small jobber and the manufacturer the same access to competitive pricing. In large volume purchases other pricing schedules are available please fax us a request for a quote.
Due to fluctuations in raw materials, fuel surcharges, availability, and labor rates our prices are subject to change at anytime.
Shipping:
We normally ship orders within 1 to 3 Business days. During holiday times; the time it takes to ship orders will INCREASE (see the Store Hours page). We ship MOST Orders standard U.P.S. ground or U.S. Post Office Priority Mail. We can also ship other carriers if prior arrangements are made. We do not calculate shipping online on orders over $200.00. Your order must be packed and weighed to calculate shipping.
This is so we can pack your order in the most economical way to save you money on shipping. Shipping and handling charges are determined by size, weight, and amount of packaging.
Extra packaging, long tubing, glass, and large items may incur extra packing fees or oversize shipping charges. The standard handing fee is three dollars per box. Again,
we will pack your order so you receive it in the most economical way without damage. Upon your request we can inform you of shipping costs before we ship your order, just check the box upon checkout
(This will delay your order since we have to call everyone back after we pack there order).
Your order will be packed by an experienced person and we will make every effort to see that you receive it in good condition, although we cannot accept responsibility for damage done after a carrier has received it from us.
In the event that a carrier does damage your merchandise please contact us immediately and we will assist you in handling your claim. Please save the box and packing material for inspection by the carrier.
We will not accept claims after seven days of receiving your order.
International Orders:
Due to the extra time it takes to produce shipping documents along with increased costs (labor rates, credit card fees, packing materials, ect.) we impose a handling fee of $5.00 (Five dollars) for all international orders. We ship anywhere in the world as long as the credit card used has the same billing address that we are shipping to. Please enter your address as best as you can then retype it in the comment field correctly as it should appear, make sure you include all details including postal code, city/town providence, AND Country. Please make sure we have a CORRECT email address and/or a fax number (Please include country code and area code with phone number). We normally ship U.S. Post Office to save you money and at times, speed your order.
The Comment Field:
Please use this field to communicate ANY additional information you think will help us with your order or ANY message you want to communicate to us.
Back Orders:
We will make every attempt to completely fill your order but in the event of a back order we will contact you when our stock is replenished. Any backorder will incur shipping charges. If your back order is urgent please contact us for estimated time of arrivals.
Returned Merchandise:
We are always pleased by satisfying our customers. We will correct any error made by us without expense to you, however we will not refund shipping cost on any incorrectly ordered items. Any merchandise may be returned with written
or verbal consent by us, please have the invoice number, and items to be returned prepared before contacting us. You will be given a RMA (return merchandise authorization) number to mark on the outside of your box.
If the RMA is not seen on the return it WILL be refused. All claims of error must be made within seven days of receipt of merchandise. We will not except returns after thirty days, or on items that have been altered or custom built.
When returning items, please insure the merchandise for the proper amount. You are responsible for returning the items in good condition.
In Store Pickup::
We will allow pick up of your order at our location as long as you place the order before you come. We will call you and let you know it's ready. If you arrive prior to ordering or a phone call letting you know your items are ready for pick up, you will be turned away. With that said, we have a three hour minimum "will call" time for pickup orders.
Privacy:
Your privacy is important and we will never share or sell any personal or financial information to other entities. Your credit card information is collected online by a Secure Socket Server, the same way you do your online banking (you will see "https" on the address line and a lock symbol on the page).
All information is processed by trusted employees that have been with our company for many years. All personal information is destroyed properly. |
